“We have this stand mounted on top of the bedroom armoire, which is 6 feet high, so the tv is quite high. Does it tilt forward so the viewing angle isn't so steep? Or, could l slide a thin (1/2") spacer at the rear of the base and still be safe?”

• Yes it does tilt up or down

• Yes. There is a peg you can loosen and tilt the tv like 20 or 25 degrees down
