The stand has a large heavy base (27 in. Wide x 15 in. Deep) that does not need to fasten to the surface it sits on, or have a provision to do so. I have a very heavy 31 in. industrial Monitor mounted on it which has speakers attached on each side that it handles with no problem. It should work fine for your application as long as the glass is strong enough to support it. I am quite pleased with the quality of the stand, and it's fit and finish should complement any environment it is placed in. Please see the attached photo, and for scale my TV with speakers is 39 inches wide.

I purchased this stand. It does not have to be fastened. It is very stable. You can rotate TV with no stability issues.
