“I was sold a VP1 Sanus Universal Projector Mount with the Optoma HD20 projector that I bought. I can not see how the three screw config. can work. I have called the support line and was advised that "they do not see that model listed", however the below post states that the SANUS Universal mount will work with the Optoma HD20. Could you please clarify.”

The VP1 is compatible with this projector but you will need to remove one leg from the main plate so there are three left, adjust the three feet on the remaining three legs to full extension so the legs can swing under the main plate and secure to the mounting holes using the compatible M3 screws provided. Then lock the lock nuts and acorn nuts on the top of the main plate so everything is locked into one place and attach to the ceiling portion as stated in the manual.
