Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm 65yrs. 295lbs. 6'2". This recumbent has a very strong frame. It's max. weight listed is 300lbs. When I use mine it feels very sturdy and I would not hesitate using it if I weighed another 10 pounds. I don't have arthritis. But, I bought mine as therapy for sciatica. I use the front handle grips to help me get off the unit. The seat is not too low and the frame is "step through". I have no issues getting in and out of the seat. I'm 6'2" and have the seat set on the second to last notch. I went to a sporting goods store which had it on display to check the fit. You may want to do that.
