Have exactly the same problem. Don't bother calling the 800 number. Assuming you can understand her, there is no way to turn the speakers off manually, unplugging is the only option. The problem is in the plug that goes into the bike. Mine is long out of warranty so they gave me a phone number for tech support (888-888-5424). Another waste of time. I'm going to take the panel off the bike and see if i can disaable the speakers, as we never need them.
