• I just installed the unit I purchased this weekend. It seems to be a good quality product. However, I do not believe that it would hold a tablet. It is made for smart phones and will handle even the large ones. Even if the magnet (which is pretty strong) holds, I do not believe that the mount would keep a full size tablet standing strait.

• Just make sure the metal plate is in the outside of the phone case.
