Q: QuestionHow does this work for a phone with no case? Do you/can you attach the magnet directly to the phone itself? If so, can it ever be removed? Thanks.

It is made for smart phones and will handle even the large ones. Even if the magnet (which is pretty strong) holds, I do not believe that the mount would keep a full size tablet standing strait.
