QuestionHow does this work for a phone with no case? Do you/can you attach the magnet directly to the phone itself? If so, can it ever be removed? Thanks.

- Answer Yes it can be mounted to the phone directly. It can also be removed. You may need to wipe it down with an alcohol swab when you do remove it if the sticky residue stays on.

- Answer I just installed the unit I purchased this weekend. It seems to be a good quality product. However, I do not believe that it would hold a tablet. It is made for smart phones and will handle even the large ones. Even if the magnet (which is pretty strong) holds, I do not believe that the mount would keep a full size tablet standing strait.

- Answer no, I have a small older se with otterbox case. The magic plate did not adhere to the otterbox, it came loose the first tie i used it. scosche said it was the otterbox plastic case . #$%^
