No it does not…..you can buy more metal plates from other stores & manufactures…….the magnet is pretty much the whole key…..

No. The mount is the magnet. It does come with two sizes (one small, one large) of metal strips that you attach to you phone. It will come with instructions to guide you to which metal strip and where to place it for your phone.
