Yes…this is designed for the Series X/S. It will allow her to transfer games to the drive. Currently, this is the only solution that has the speed to play Native Series X/S games from external drive/Card. There will eventually be other options and larger storage sizes.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes now there is a 2 TB version and if you want no need to move games from HDD to SSD and vice versa get the bigger storage ones. This is the only compatible SSD memory for the Xbox Series X and Series S. you can use other SSD memories, but they will not let you run the games from those if the game is the optimized for Xbox Series console version of the game. it has to be the Xbox One version in order to run it from a none official SSD memory

This device is special made to work with the Xbox Series X as if it were internal storage. So you can play your 4K games off a storage device that looks and runs the same as the internal storage.
