Which Seagate drive? Which Mac? Serious, check this out careful. Some Seagate drives are missing a pair of screw holes - ones that Macs depend on. I put one in no problem in a PC. Get the model of the Seagate drive. Look up the manual on the Seagate web site. Make sure it has all holes you need.
