Yeah will have no problem, just make sure to format it for Windows 8 after its installed in the system properties.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've used 4 Separate hard drives One (3TB and 3 1TB) on both Windows 7 and 8/8.1 you are fine as long as your mother board has the extra ports to add another HDD.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Windows has nothing to do with the size of your hard disk being compatible with your computer. It's your Computer's BIOS that determines the maximum size of hard disk it can use. Therefore I personally see no reason why you couldn't install the drive. HOWEVER, if you want to save your data, be sure to backup first. I would also personally wait for Windows 10 due out later this year.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.100% compatible.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am using the Seagate - Barracuda 3TB Internal Serial ATA Hard Drive for Desktops with Windows-8. There has been absolutely no issue. Once you've installed the thing, you will have to use the Windows hard-disc manager program to tell the system how you want it use the disc. I don't remember whether Seagate's instructions are particularly clear or not as I didn't need them. The machine I bought it for is an HP desktop that came with Windows-8, and it came with a similar Seagate Barracuda drive (but only 1 TB) for its system disc, so there is no question that this family of discs is appropriate for Windows-8.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will work. I have not had any problems with that drive at all.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it will.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't tried it myself, but a quick search of the net showed some issues with the 3tb in WIN8. I'm not sure why, but its probably a driver issue and may be resolved in 8.1.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
