I have a digital tv converter box that movies get saved on either an external hard drive or flash drive just by plugging it to the usb port. I would think if you have an usb port, it should show up as a portable device and you could copy to it or save it but I am not a tech smarty either. Best Buy employee should know, I ask them questions all the time. Good luck
