is seagate compatible with windows xp? null

I've used it on everything from an XP work machine on up to 10 and on my Mac. Compatibility is more dependent on how you format the drive though.

yes it is. i use it with my windows computer and my MAC. i actually portioned the external drive so that i can use the same drive with both cpu's.

Yes it can be used for Windows Xp it's just a external hard drive format it to fat 32 and you'll be ready to go using it
