• Not much of a manual on these. Check their website and discussion boards. Youtube videos, too. In particular, look at the manuals or instructions for the backup programs you'll likely use it with. Sad but true that the market for these seems to be those who don't need a manual.

• Not really, it has a quick start guide, which tells you how to connect to your PC and you can get the manuel once connected
