• There is a downloaded driver that allows you to mount on both a PC and a Mac.

• It supports both. You have to download an additional driver from Seagate website for the pc.

• It supports Mac OS X 10.7 or higher and Windows 8, and Windows 7. If you are wanting to use the Lyve software that comes as an add-on, you will need Mac OS X 10.9 or higher, and Android 4.1 or higher. It doesn't say that the Lyve software works with Windows. It plugs in via USB 2.0 or USB 3.0
