No. It says right in the specification that it is an HDD - which is a physical disk drive SSD Drives of the same capacity cost about 5 times as much. I can't wait for the prices to come down on SSD technology!

No. This is a regular HDD which means it has moving parts. SSD is a totally different technology (Non moving parts).
