Works great and it’s super easy to use. You just plug it in and it works. It also comes with a recovery program. I’m not sure exactly about it because I didn’t dive into it it. I format this hdd into fat32 for downloading ps3 games. It works perfectly. I’ve had it for 2 weeks now and download 1.2tb of ps3 games, around 90+ games on it, and it’s still working so far.

Bought to use as an external hard drive on my PlayStation 4. Super easy setup and super affordable! Twice the storage at half the price of the other guys! I got one for myself and one for my son. Thank You Best Buy!

I haven't had any problems with the hard drive yet. It was a good deal, comes with enough space for my projects, and it got here quickly. I would recommend this for other graphic design students as well, or anyone who needs plenty of space with a budget.

So far this product has been good. I've only put 45 GB worth of videos and pictures I need to edit and just for memories. I plugged this into my Imac too and so far it seems fine. It's easy to use and there seem to be no problems. Make sure you eject it correctly on your device so it doesn't get damaged! Haven't used it as a portable though. It's been just hanging at home. Added some comparison pictures to my old Iphone 6s plus.

Great product and exactly what i needed for my Adobe files. I use Photoshop and Premier quite a lot and this is a fast external Drive just for that. I can transfer large videos and PS files in an instant without lags or interruptions. I also use a 1TB Seagate as my back up External Drive for all my electronics.

Unfortunately is not available anymore. I have the same with the rescue services and its wirth buting!!

I ran out of space on my internal HD for Xbox one. This one is plug and play and does not need an external AC source. It is quick and quiet. And so far it has always been recognized by the System. I had an external before this one, which would always put itself in sleep mode. I would have to unplug everything to get it to work. This one does not do that. It is top notch.

I bought the Harddrive to replace the harddrive in my PS4 and it worked wonders on it. Well worth the money. Perfectly comparable. I always recommend this harddrive to all my gaming buddies now

I purchased the 2TB HD to replace the standard 500GB in the ps4. The total time took about 10 mins to swap and a few minutes to reload the ps4 firmware from website. Not only do you get to upgrade your ps4 but you also get to repack the original 500GB HD from the ps4 into the casing of the 2TB HD. Its like getting 2 for 1 because you now have an external 500GB portable HD. I would highly recommend purchasing and the price was very reasonable.

I was looking for an external HD i could use for my ps4. With just simple tweaking of the box and removing the drive from the box, I was able to replace it with my stock ps4 500gb drive. Easy fix, monstrous space on ps4 and low price. A definite buy!

Amazing how small they make external hard drives these days. I was surprised by how small this 2TB Hard Drive was when it arrived in the mail. I was replacing an old external drive that was about 1/4 of the memory of the new one and the new one is less than 1/4 of the size of the old one. Plus, only one small cord is needed - just the USB cord. Also, it's as silent as a mouse - I don't hear a thing. Quick access too!

This is a great external hard drive. Simple plug and play installation via usb. The compact design is great for storing in a laptop bag. No issues with it thus far. I would definitely recommend as it is reasonably priced for the amount of storage.

I’m not tech savvy at all but I know the very basics. I needed more storage for my daughters PlayStation4 since she only has the 500gb she would constantly miss out on updates and would have to compromise on deleting data she really wanted to keep. Like any amazing father I turned to google and YouTube. I came across many videos where they would open the PlayStation and add storage, no thank you. There had to be a better and easier way, so I came across a video where this products was used for storage and decided to buy it. I am very pleased with it and it’s incredibly easy to set it up. Plug it in, format it by selecting yes to when asked to format and done! Easy to transfer data from the PS4 to the external drive and vice versa. Highly recommend it!

I bought this for my study abroad trip to Italy. I was there for a month and uploaded hundreds of photos onto this hard drive. It really came in handy. I am glad I brought it with me. It made it easier to give my teacher all the files as well.

It took me a bit, possibly 3 times. I kept having to unplug it and plug it back in for it to work for my Xbox. I also have a 2tb wd my passport(ps4) but that is bulky compared to this. That also works as expected but I like this more for it's slimmer design and it's cheaper to boot.

I really love my expansion HD from seagate. I use it for my PS4 because I was running out of room and it has been a help to get my memory up again for new games in the future. Awesome HD, definitely recommended for anyone that needs extra storage for certain devices.

Compact, fast, large capacity and inexpensive! Search all websites for a deal and this was the best.

We have to upgrade some computers and are backing up first to these hard drives. They work perfectly for our needs. We will buy more when the time comes.

I have had multiple extra hard drives with electric power support or not. While I experienced crashes from previous one, this one so far so good. Fast and reliable~!

Nice, slim design. USB 3.0 and writing speed - lightning fast combo. Does the job well. Doesn't have any backup software. It's just an expansion of your hard drive.
