Unfortunately, due to no fault of the product, it recently died and I have learned the importance of backups. Still, would (and likely will) purchase again.

Great hard drive for the price

I am using this for extra storage on my Xbox One. Just plug it into your computer to format it first. Otherwise the Xbox won't read it. You will then have to format it once plugged into the Xbox One. That's it! Enjoy the extra storage!

So far so good...

I previously bought a WD drive several years ago and is still going strong. I have had no problems connecting to my laptop (Yoga 2 11) or my TV (LG Google TV). I use this as a plug and play device, and do not use any of the Seagate software on it. I do hope this lasts as long as WD, and will update/add my review if something happens.

Seagate Expansion USB

Still....Lots of space left; more than 1TB. Nothing to do, just plug directly into back USB port.
