“Does the HD shut down when you turn off the console? I currently have a WD Black 8TB drive but I have to unplug it because the drive spins up, starts reading then spins down constantly when the console is off no matter what power setting I have it in.”

• Mine shuts down when my console is off. It does not spin when not in use. The light does stay on though. A little annoying sometimes
