Possibly. If playstsion will recognize it to format it. This is designed for Xbox.

Yes, it should. This is Norhing more than a Normal 4tb *Seagate* external Hard Drive, The only difference its that this is decorated with the Xbox Emblem & color. You even have to fromat it when first use (just like a normal drive). Enjoy!

I don't have any idea whether that one would work on a PS4 but when I was looking at a Western Digital Drive Which is less expensive I was told that it works better with a PS4 than an Xbox One and they're cheaper. I mean you can even get a 5 terabyte for not that much money.
