• You can not detach the entire battery system. I’m sure you can replace it some how. If you are looking for a scooter that you can quickly switch the batteries Google hiboy S2r / S2r plus.

• Hello! Thank you for reaching out! The battery on this model is not detachable, so it would need to be charged while attached to the scooter. As for weather resistance, the scooter body has an IPX5 rating, and the battery is rated IPX6—both designed to handle light rain but not full submersion.
