• I have been using smart bulbs in a covered light outside of my garage for about a year or so. It is protected from the weather and I have not had any issues. The only issue I was concerned about was my wifi reaching out to the garage, which it did.

• That's a good question. I would call the manufacturer. I wonder if it would work with extreme exposure to cold, heat, and rain. I would think it would not work the same since it does not say for outdoor usage.

• The instructions say not to install this bulb outside, due to the humidity. Even if it's in protected area, I suspect the humidity may cause you issues.

• I would say yes. It is a state led light. If you have extreme temps like below 0 then no. They have normal limitations that LED's have.
