• The included batteries are rechargeable AAA NiCad and are in constant charge mode if you make sure to plug in the unit after use. My experience with rechargeable batteries is that they should last for years and can be replaced. Be sure not to use regular batteries. Rechargeable batteries are not cheap but when you consider the long term use, they're more than worth it. Expect to pay around 4 to 5 bucks per battery.
