I have just purchased a Roland TD 9K2 V Drum set and need headphones that will drown out the environment around me, and not let me hear the tapping of the symbols etc. I was considering the HD 280 Pro, any suggestions would greatly help, thank you”

Any tight / snug fitting, over-the-ear headphone will work. It will be difficult to find a quality set of headphones that will completely drown out ambient noise. However, with the sound from the headphones, any over the ear should drown out the actual sound of hitting the drums themselves.
