I rarely do reviews but I had to in this case. These headphones have been produced for years. There's a reason for that. These headphones get consistently good reviews. There's a reason for that, too. I do voiceover work, audiobooks mostly and the occasional radio spot. These headphones aren't colored (unlike Beats which are very bass heavy) so what you hear is an excellent representation of what's being recorded. These are also great for listening to music. As I said, they don't lean one way or the other, they're accurate representations of what the sound engineers wanted you to hear.

Great pair of headphones. So far I've used them for my DJ business, as well as some audio editing, and they've performed admirably well. Super durable as well. I'd definitely recommend. Some people might find the fit kind of weird (It's a little tight), but they've never fallen off my head.

Had to replace my Pioneer SE-205's which I received as a gift around June 1974 (still sound good but have a short in the wiring near the headpiece). These are comfortable to wear for 4-5 hours a night with no problem. They have a nice neutral sound without artificial bass added which would give me a headache. I have tone controls on my receiver to add that stuff if I want it. I cannot predict the durability, but they look sturdy enough to last for years. So far, so good. I would recommend this item for someone who doesn't have $300 or more to spend. Long cord is appreciated (and replaceable).

I bought these as a birthday gift to myself along with the complete Star Wars sound track and I can honestly say a shiver went up my spine when I first listened to Duel of Fates (if you do end up buying these headphones, listen to that song and you'll see what I mean). I use these to listen to music at home without waking or disturbing my room mates who have all remarked how astoundingly clear and crisp the sound is.

As a film maker and cinematographer, Ipurchased this set of headphones for monitoring audio during recording dialog during production as well as editing in post production. These headphones provide awesome quality and clarity when compared to similar headphones in the same price range. I do not believe these would be a good fit for users who are looking to listen to music as their primary use of the headphones, as the bass response isn't comparable to headphones designed for music, DJ's, etc. However, if you are looking for a pair of headphones for monitoring and checking consistency of audio, these are a great fit. They come with minium adjustability with two basic adjustments of lengthening and shortening the headband and a single axis pivot on the ear cup. Storage is what you'd expect for a large set of headphones. The ear cups fold up and in to the headband's arch. The cord is a stretchable coiled loop with a single connection to the left ear cup. Overall, these headphones are great for the price if it fits your needs and intended use.

Great full spectrum sound reproduction. Crisp highs and powerful lows. I was genuinely surprised at how full the sound is.

The quality of these headphones are hard to beat; the best for recording and decent for audio editing. Comfortable and adjustable, these are a must for any home studio.

Excellent sound, comfortable, I like the fact that the 1/4" adapter screws on, I also like the coiled cord. I've not had these headphones long enough to know how they are going to hold up long term, but as long as your somewhat careful they seem like they'll provide excellent sound and comfort for a long time. They are an excellent value for the cost.

I was given a pair of these many years ago by a friend who got them while in school for audio engineering. as the years progressed i wnet from using them to listening to music to using them daily in my job as a video editor. I cannot sing enough praises for these wonderful headphones! there are many brands and styles to choose from in today's headphone market but these are deff geared towards people who are listening for clarity and don't want the low end blasting. the only reason i replaced my last pair was due to my own negligence, tossed them in a shoulder bag with my laptop and broke them. great value, great sound. consider buying.

Great base cancels out most sound has comfortable fit and feel durable versatile

These headphones sound great. I wanted to try a pair that could help block out sound in noisy environments like airplanes. Ear buds can't compete with loud sounds. These really do the trick. After listening for a long time, they can become uncomfortable.

Our granddaughter watches movies and listens to music while traveling. She does not like the small earbuds because they are not comfortable, we were looking for some good sounding earphones to replace them and she tried these out in the store and really liked them. She said they really eliminated the background noise and were very comfortable. Our granddaughter has been very pleased with them!

I bought these as a replacement for my old studio fast mixdown headphones. So far they have a nice flat response as most headphones these days pump the bass up way to much for studio purposes. These are a bit bassy but all in all very warm and true sounding. I am very happy with them. I have been using them now for about 3 weeks and they work very well.

What is real important, is the sound quality and the total length of cable. Because the cable is wound in small circles the length is about 3 feet and great for MP3 players, but if used in amplifier it can be stretched to 10 feet. Has real deep bass. Cuts out outside noise, without having noise-canceling circuitry.

I bought these to replace lower end gaming headphones on my gaming computer. These headphones are outstanding, giving me access to sounds in my games that I never knew were there. Also, I find them to be very comfortable, even after long sessions of gaming. They also make listening to music on my computer a real joy.

These headphones are almost a standard for a lot of studios. Might as well use them In your day to day experience. Fantastic flat response ensures your listening to the sound the way it was meant to be heard. They are very good at reducing noise, and are quite comfortable. I would recommend them to anyone.

I was traveling and needed headphones so I could play guitar through my effects box. Sound is excellent and they're comfortable to wear for extended periods. They also work well when plugged into my ipod. A very good value at this price point.

Overall, these are pretty good headphones. Low sound leakage, collapsible design, sound quality you'd expect from Sennheiser, and pretty comfortable for an hour or two. They're not the most stylish pair of headphones, but they're quite functional.
