For your purposes the HD 428 will be a better value. If you were doing more mixing/studio work, the HD 280 would be a better value.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.HD 280 Pro is a good, all around set that isn't too expensive and will perform the functions that you indicated. I have a pair -- I play the bass, use an mp3 player, etc., and they are fine. Mind you, there is about a 100 hour break-in period. They get "seasoned" the more you use them.
