Yes, you can adjust the volume from the earbuds. There are many things that can be controlled from the earbuds like turning noice canceling on and off, pausing the source you are listening to on your phone, skipping forward and back a track. I don't remember if there is more than this, these are the things I do most from the earbuds themselves.
