“Can you wash the filters? If I have a lot of dog hair, should I at least take the filter out and tap it outside and put it back in before the six month window is up? Or do I just rely on the machine to tell me when the filter is clean?”

To maximize your air purifier's filter life we recommend leaving your unit in AUTO mode. After 100% clean air status is achieved for 10 minutes in AUTO mode, your air purifier will enter ECO mode and further optimize your filter life. We also recommend flipping and rotating the direction of your filter every 3 months. This will help equalize and balance the distribution of captured particles throughout the filter, allowing for extended usage.
