Yes. This would be all you need. You can convert it to the hand held and use the attachments for corners. Its compact for storage and is rechargeable. I have pets and it does a great job on both my bare floors and carpets.

Yes. My house is 3 floors, 1900 sqft (~600/fl). Top floor all carpet, ground floor all hardwood, basement all carpet. One charge is able to work on all the carpet we have even while using the trigger function.

I think it would be great! The top comes off for storage and the attachments work perfect. My house is over 2300 sq ft and it completes in one charge.
