Yes. One of my main uses. But I make sure I shake out as much of the clumping litter dust as possible before washing the filter.

Yes it can pick up cat litter especially when they run and make a mess and spread it to the floor. As long as it's not peed already or pooped you can use the vacuum to clean up the floor

It can pickup litter! Use it on our furniture also a great job!
