“It would really be nice to have a link to the manual. Only comes with one battery? What is the model of a spare battery and how much is it? No info on Shark site or anywhere. Strange for $350.”

Yes it does only come with one battery, it lasts approximately 45 minutes on a full charge. I will be ordering an extra battery soon though. Model number printed on the battery is XSBT750. As far as I can tell, this model was just released so hopefully there will be more info soon!

Please try again later.This model comes with a single, rechargeable battery that lasts up to 60 minutes (the original DuoClean had two batteries that lasted up to 30 minutes each. This model requires only the power adapter, meaning that you can charge the battery while inserted into the vacuum or removed from the vacuum. The battery is Model XSBT750, and is rated to last for two years. I do not know the cost of a spare battery.

Unfortunately, there do not seem to be any third-party batteries, at least on Amazon, and looking at the Internet. Hopefully this isn't a rare battery permanently. I just love this vacuum!
