• what I meant about the speakers. Are they detachable from unit, if the whole unit won't fit on same shelf can they be put above or below on shelf. Are they connected by cord?

• Hello, we do not recommend that the speakers be separated or be placed on another shelf. Both speakers should be at least 6fts apart from the main unit.
