Before posting this review I have put this stereo through 3 months of heavy use and I am very satisfied with it. It’s an explosive sound trip back to the late 1990’s! Getting to use old CD and cassette tape collection like it’s a new thing all over again but with the modern advancements in sound quality! I use this stereo in my travel trailer and when I crank it up to 85% volume I can barely hear myself think and can hear it 5 trailer lots over. Had 5 complaints because it’s so loud and the bass is powerful! The size of the stereo is perfect and larger than I expected. My opinion is i got a good deal on this stereo and am very pleased with it. I have not had any quality issues or complaints with it yet. I would buy it again if I needed another one and I honestly recommend this if you need some good clear sound and want a touch of the past and present in one package!

This product was beyond our expectations! The sound quality is excellent and finally could listen to our Christmas CD's that were stored away for years. The blue tooth function was excellent too where you could use Pandora or any other app for music. Our 26 year old daughter had her friends over and they loved streaming their music to it (they of course made fun of the fact it played CD's too). The only drawback is that you better keep those written instructions close to the remote on how to change out CD's, use the repeat function, forward and etc.,. It is not intuitive at all and if you don't play the CD's all the time you will forget the many steps to operate. That said, the 5 CD capacity was very nice.

Must have if you own cassettes. The cassettes sound better than any other system on production at the moment. The watts it not true but it has decent volume. Great in sound with mid lows and highs. Plus on cds,usb and Bluetooth

I love it the speakers sounds amazing sounds crisp. It has a good slump i Highly recommend you guys to get one. Before they’re gone.

When I use Bass Boost my wife runs down to my shop and yells at me to turn it down, which is awesome! The CD changer works well and remembers where you were when you powered down. Blue tooth works like a charm with my iPhone. it's plenty loud for a 20 by 30 shop and I'd recommend this as a great buy for your money! I have not used the radio or cassette yet. I don't think I have any cassette tapes since the 80's... but if I did I'm sure it would kick you know what on this unit.

I was torn between a 3 and a 4 for this. I bought it to replace a 20 year old Sony that I loved in my basement bar. First the good. The sound is amazing. I've never heard better out of a bookshelf unit. Also it plays my MP3 cds, which was a must have. It has a random function, which was also a must have. The FM radio is super sensitive. I was able to get rid of my amplified antenna and just use the supplied wire. An aside that only applies to me, Sharp put in the wrong remote so a lot of functions didnt work. They were very nice about replacing it with the right one so that got resolved right quick. Now the bad. Many of the functions are harder to work than they need to be, and many have to use the remote. It is not very intuitive or user friendly. You will have to read the instructions repeatedly and experiment. It only does random on the CD playing, not across all the CDs. The clock is worthless. It displays for about five seconds and disappears. Changing the display is temporary. If you set it to display the song title/artist, that stays only for that song. When the next song starts it reverts to some useless numbers. When you turn it on or off the servos sound like a 1950's movie robot. Pretty cool, but slow. When you turn it off, it doesn't turn off. Instead it displays "bluetooth enabled". If I had a blue tooth I'd probably go see a dentist. Dont need or want it defaulting to my stereo. Better if it defaulted to the clock. If you want to change disks, you have to push the disk number and then the play button. If you just push the disk number it blinks for a while and then goes back to the previous one. I've only had this thing for a few weeks so the learning curve is not complete. Some of my observations may be modifiable. I just haven't figured out how yet. Like I said, you wont take this out of the box and just run it.

I think this is the best reasonably priced cd stereo system left on the market. It's also nice to have a 5 disc cd changer. Many of the remaining systems only have one. I also appreciate the sleek look of the system. Some of the other ones are very vibrant in colors and it makes it look cheap in my opinion. It's a nice old school style stereo with the addition of NFC or BT pairing. Sounds quality isn't amazing, but it's pretty good and will do the job. I will say, some of the controls on the stereo itself are abit confusing. But the remote layout is good so it's fine

Good looking system - great sound, easy to use. It's bigger than I imagined which is a plus. The instructions recommend at least 4 inches between each piece so people should take this into consideration when they're measuring where they are going to place this system. Also, the woofer should be away from the speakers & component. Highly recommend this Sharp 350W 5 disc mini component system.

I am more than pleased with this product. I like that I can enjoy music 3 ways...CD, Radio, and Cassette tapes. The sound is phenomenal. I can get lots of bass out of it! That was a must. It is actually more powerful than I needed, but when I am home alone I can really "crank it up"! The system itself really does deserve a 5 star rating for its quality. If there was a way to use blue tooth headphones with it I would have found way to add a 6th star. I purchased it on line from Best Buy. No hassle with ordering and it arrived sooner than anticipated. Thank you Best Buy for the good service.

I am amazed with the bass and the whole sound of this Sharp system. It sounds as good as my JVC system if not better. It is very easy to setup and everything works beautifully. I recommend this Sharp system to everyone. I don't think you will be disappointed at all.

This player replaces my old Sharp 5-cd player, which I bought 20+ years ago. Set up was easy and the sound is top notch. It's a little bigger than my old one, because of the sub-woofer (the old model did not come with that), so I had to make more space. It was all worth it though. The addition of the cassette player is a nice touch to (I still have a few of those laying around). I'm very satisfied with this replacement purchase.

I had the same exact system of older version without the subwoofer with 5 CD player, cassette player, and ability to adjust bass and treble separately. This one adds Bluetooth and memory to play CD exactly where it left off last time. Subwoofer really give a boot to the bass. It is a much improved new version. Question is how long will the features last? Last previous one lasted me for at least 5 years and I blasted out almost everyday! (The only way to listen to rock and roll: early '70s). I bought this one with $140.00 off; so, it was a very good deal. Hopefully it will last another 5 years plus.

The Five CD changer was my main reason for purchasing this system. I am very pleased with the sound quality and ease of use. If you are looking for a no-fuss, well made system, this is the one. The only bum note is the incompatibility with my iPod. I don't want to use the bluetooth connection - prefer to plug in. Overall, the stereo is a good quality product.

My mother wanted a multidisc CD player but did not have any stereo equipment. It appeared as though there were not a lot of CD player systems anymore, due probably to the fact that most people simply blue tooth their music from their smart phones rather than using actual CD's. I found this system at Best Buy, the Sharp - 5-Disc mini component system. I hooked it up for her, showed her the controls and she loves it. The sound is awesome and the 5-disc feature ideal for her.

This replaces 3 very old JVCs.Sound is nice.ove the bass. Happy to have the 5 CD player, cassette, remote, and to turn off the display. Only downside is radio reception. I frequently have to adjust the antenna wire.

Bought this as a gift for my Mom. Easy to set-up. Sounds good and no problems so far. She has only been using for a week. Very light-weight and seems made a bit cheaply compared to older systems, so we will see how long it lasts. My Mom likes the sounds and the larger remote. The buttons on the unit are difficult to read though as the printing is small and there is not enough contrast, so we just put some labels on for my mom.

Love it, Sounds great and easy to set up. Only issue is cant figure out the clock to get it to stay on. But everything else is great. I love it and it was a great investment after having the same stereo for 30 years.

I like the system. It is hard to figure out. The words on the front display never turn off. Continuous words display. I dont mind the light as I do not require complete dark to sleep. It is not user friendly. Turn up very very loud and has a nice sound.

I couldn't view this in person in a BB store, so I carefully read the reviews, took a chance, and had it delivered to my home. This system is quite large and looks impressive. We in particular wanted a good CD player, and this delivers. Once you get familiar with the many, many settings on the remote, the sound is amazing.

Nice unit for a Bluetooth illiterate old man! Rocks my old AC\DC and Lynyrd Skynyrd CDs well. Comes with everything you need except batteries for the remote control (two AAA's). Biggest drawback in my opinion is that the speaker wire is hardwired to the speakers so, if you want to extend speaker wire length you have to splice the wires. Most functions operated by the remote which seems a little sluggish to respond. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this stereo system.
