If you hought the best buy warranty recently.. they have to tepair 42" and greater on site

Same thing happened to us with a new 65" TV that we purchased with the added Geek Squad Best Buy Protection Plan. Impact is due to user...not a defect or default of the tv, so that is buyer responsibility. Unfortunately the cost of it is more than a TV, so you're best bet is to buy a new TV. You can contact the manufacturer and inform them, see what they say, but if it's a result of impact, they won't cover it because it's not their fault. It's user fault. You can also contact Best Buy (if you purchased the extra protection plan) and ask them, but again, if it's a result of impact, that's negligence/accident on the owner, not Best Buy or manufacturer and as such, it's not covered.
