During the setup process, you are given the opportunity to select which HDMI port you are using and assign the appropriate device. In your case, assign the cable box. Since there are multiple HDMI ports, you can set up more than one device, ie. Cable Box, Apple TV etc...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.for internet connectivity, you can use WiFi or a hard wired connection from you modem/router box to your TV. I suggest you use a good cat6 ethernet cable from your router to your TV just for a much better connection. The Xfinity receiver can be connected to HDMI 1.
