I've had this problem several times. I've done the simple "check the humidifier section", and this does not solve the problem. I've replaced the humidifier wick and cleaned the assembly but that didn't sort it out. so, I eventually took the back off, and cleaned the mineral encrusted wheel that turns the wick. It's survived about 2 yrs... I'm ready to do it again :(
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm having the same issue. I think the pad spinning motor is working but since it makes a ticking sound I'm pretty sure it's a gear. These parts are available from appliancefactoryparts.com
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My unit is new and the same thing happens. I’ve checked the filter, and water. But the E2 message still comes back. Also Sharp has a terrible customer service department. They were no help.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, an E2 error code means abnormal humidifying filter. Please verify if the humidifying filter, humidifying tray and water tank are properly installed and then turn the power on again.
