QuestionCan you tell me if my ipod shuffle will work on this and does it wake to radio or ipod? Thanks

- Answer Excellent question! The DK-CL5P is compatible with many iPhone and iPod devices, however, it is not compatible with the iPod shuffle. The DK-CL5P can be set to play a desired source (like an iPod or radio tuner) or Buzzer sound for a 1 hour alarm cycle.

- Answer Thank you for your interest in the DK-CL5P Sharp alarm clock. There is an Audio In port on the back of the alarm clock that can be used for connecting MP3 players.

- Answer Excellent question! The DK-CL5P Sharp alarm can be connected to certain iPod devices that have a 30 Pin connector without any addtional cables. If you have an iPod that does not have an iPod 30 Pin connector, you can use an auxillary cable to connect it to the AUX IN jack.

- Answer Yes, it shows the time. You can set the clock by just docking your iPhone or iPod.

QuestionWill an iPhone with a protective case on it still dock in this properly?I want to know whether or not an iPhone 3G would still fit in here if it had a case on it.

- Answer Thank you for your interest in the DK-CL5P Sharp alarm clock. Whether or not an iPhone with a protective case will fit the docking station on this clock really depends on how much the protective case alters the shape and size of the phone. The docking station for the alarm clock was designed to fit a standalone iPod/iPhone.
