If you use the app to put them into classic mode aka bone conduction and you wear earplugs then your set.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If your wearing earplugs, they will work great as the sound is conducted through the bones near your ear. The earplugs are necessary if you are near loud sounds as that would drown out your music or whatever your listening to. I do this when i am working in the yard.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Wearing earplugs makes the sound louder/easier to hear, I use them all the time while operating heavy equipment, and often have to turn down the volume several clocks when I put my earplugs in.
