Q: QuestionWhat do they use when securing a subwoofer in place in the trunk? Mine slides around and am going to get it installed but don't know if they have something to secure it?

Q: QuestionI bought this sub along with this (JVC - In-Dash Digital Media Receiver - Built-in Bluetooth with Detachable Faceplate - Black) radio for my brother's car, I plan on getting them installed here as well. Is it necessary that I have an amplifier?

• A:Answer Which sub?? Typically a subwoofer requires more power to play than a set of full range speakers so an amplifier is needed. It isn't necessary that you have an amplifier but you can purchase one at time of installation. The auto tech can help you with that process.

• A:Answer You're going to need an amp which requires a wire kit to be installed. The subwoofers will need mounted in some type of enclosure.
