Preparing your car
We'll go through a preinstallation checklist and, if necessary, remove your existing subwoofer.
Factory-installed look and functionality
We'll wire the subwoofer and box terminals, and ensure the subwoofer is securely fastened to the enclosure. We can also secure the enclosure to your vehicle at your request.
To finish, we'll perform a postinstallation checklist, vacuum the work area, and give you a demonstration of the subwoofer's features.
How to redeem and schedule your installation:
After ordering, you'll get a redemption e-mail containing a key code that validates your order. Find your nearest installation center and call to schedule an appointment.
What to bring to your installation appointment:
Bring a printout of your redemption e-mail, the subwoofer you want installed, and any other parts you may have purchased for the installation.
*Standard installation does not include vehicle-specific parts or accessories. For single subwoofer installation, the cost of parts will vary. Such parts and any additional parts or extensive labor are extra.
Your Geek Squad Autotech will provide an estimate prior to performing work that requires an additional charge (including nonstandard installation) and any additional parts. Any additional charges will be assessed after the installation is complete.
Terrible Tech Elliot wasted my time and did not know how to do the installation.
What is even worse... after waiting a month to have the item installed.... i noticed that the time to return the item to the store had passed as well! What!!!!
Elliot could only offer to reschedule elsewhere another Month Away.... I could not believe he had the audacity to add insult to injury of waiting all this time.
I simply needed this install as a way to have something to look forward to while to and from work during this horid covid season. A bit of a stress release you know.
Do not schedule your installation there. Not worth your time.

Sound system installation
Overall pleased with friendliness, professionalism, and final results. I wasn't thrilled that an extra $100+ was added on installation day for forgotten items. I would expect the sales guy to have accounted for everything when I bought the system.
A:AnswerI have had several installs at geek squad involving subwoofers and when they tune the amp they use their ears. Best buy does not provide them with an o-scope or specialized tuner. If your lucky, you can find a tech there that has their own o-scope or voltmeter to do the tuning, but I've only encountered that once with a tech that has a master certification and he was really into car audio. I don't know where he went but where I go to do installs he is no longer there. Subwoofer install covers putting sub in box, that's it. The amp install is the main thing and it can be from $70-$125 depending on type of amp.
A:AnswerIt would be $40 unless the tech is nice and does it for one but from my own experiences they will charge you for two. And I would look into just doing one box because two boxes will cancel each other out if facing one another.
A:AnswerI’ve tried randomly going to get work done and it’s hard because these guys are so busy. Better to call and schedule an appointment and let them know what work your are trying to do. From your question it will take 3-4 hours for amp, dual subs installation
