Probably defective. ........
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They are defective if you can only hear out of one bud, even after connecting to ipod or iphone7. Hopefully you are trying different songs or videos on these two devices, just to be certain it's not an issue with the songs you are playing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From what I can conclude, it seems like it might be defective. Bring it back into Best Buy and see what they say. If it's in the return period it can be swapped out, I bought a warranty for mine cause I rather spend the few extra bucks knowing it's fully covered for the 2 years with normal wear and tear.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You listed two Apple products that wouldn't play through the left earbud. Have you tried using a non-Apple product to see if both earbuds work? If you do try a non- Apple device and both earbuds work then yes, it may be a software issue. However, and I believe this may be the actual issue, if the left earbud still does not work after using a non-Apple device then you may just have a shortage in your earbuds. If the shortage isn't too severe then while you are using them (in the ear), if you wiggle it a bit you should hear your music go in and out. Depending on how long you've owned them, you should contact the manufacturer to see about your warranty options.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My teenager do not want them for that reason! When she used with extension to use with iPhone 5 in LifeProof case, there were no sound in left bud. It does work ok without anything else. My complain is, there is no volume control.
