It's only 1 way sync with the apple calendar. So we switched to the Google calendar to get the 2 way sync.

We understand you wanted to know if two-way sync works with Apple Calendars. 2-Way-Sync is currently only available for Google Calendars at this time, however, we’re hoping to expand this to other Calendars as soon as we can. Unfortunately, Skylight is a small team with a very long to-do list and we’re unable to provide a timeline for when that feature will be available.
