No. Not without an adapter/converter. But they aren't that expensive so it shouldn't be a big problem. 4gb is adequate for casual use but 8 is much better when you have more than one program open. Even if the other app(s) are minimized they are satill open and it will be a drain on the processor and RAM. For the a/v I use Avast free as it seems to be a smaller drain on the system than some others.
