My experience has been that only one person can view a stream at any given time. If another person comes to watch the app will ask if you want to boot the other person's active stream.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hopper just came out with a 7 tuner hopper. The one you described is their older model and yes could only watch 3 channels at a time. If you were recording on 2 of them that ment only one person could watch. Their new system can run 7 tuners without all the bypass selectors like before. They are straight wire from the dish. They have also introduced a new dish as well. Looks the same as the other but this is part of its new feature. I had direct tv once, for a week, and canceled it. The folks to do our installs offer both direct and dish. He even told me I would call them to make the switch. boy was he right.
