• Yes, you can watch & control your own TV, that's in your house, from anywhere that has an internet connection. You can do so using your phone, table, laptop or PC, even Amazon Fire TV / Fire Stick. 200 miles or 2000, it doesn't matter. In the US or Overseas, also doesn't matter - you just have to have an internet connection.

• In the world of internet miles mean nothing. It only depends on how fast the internet travels from point A to B. This is done by the upload speed from point A to the download rate at point B. Point B can only receive as fast as point A can upload. Point A can only upload as fast as point B can download. You have to look at what internet speed you are paying for.. upload is never as fast as the download speed that you pay for.
