Yes, You should be able to, we've been using our's from another state to watch our Comcast Divo. You have to get used to the response command time. At first we didn't think that our commands were going through. It takes a few seconds to transmit the commands. If you become impatient and press the command again every command is memorized and keeps repeating. It took us awhile to figure this out so exercise patience. It is worth it,especially for me to be able to watch my football teams game instead of the local broadcast.

On my app. I can select which m2 i want to access. I can record using the app & i can play any recorded shows from both of my dvr. I hope this helps.
