• I'm sorry, Rona. I cannot answer your question completely. My tablet is an iPad Air (first generation). The cover works on it but does not fit very well. It's too loose. Also, it is a very poor quality compared to the one I bought from Apple for my first iPad several years ago. But maybe the iPad 4th generation is a bit thicker and this cover will fit it better.
