A: Yes it will, I am currently using it with my iPad 6th Gen (9.7 inch 2018 model with Apple Pencil Support)

A: No, iPad pros have magnets in a different place and require a specific cover
A: Yes - this case has a magnetic edge that fastens to the side of the iPad & only covers the front screen.
Q: Will this fit an iPad that is 9.7" ?
A: Fits both of my iPads: Gen 5 and Air Gen 1.
Q: What cover fits iPad Air front and back and use as a stand too hold iPad.
A: They don’t make the front and back cover anymore to fit the original iPad like you are describing. You may find them made by someone else but not Apple but they are difficult to find with front and back.

A: I purchased this for a 9.7” iPad. Model A1893. iPad Dimensions are 9.4 x 6.6 x 0.29.
