You bring the carbonator to any store that sells them and they will sell you a replacement one, while taking back the old one - kind of like propane tanks when you return the old tank and get a new one that is already refilled.

As to how long they last, it depends on how many bottles of soda you fill up. There are 2 sizes of carbonators. The large one will make up to 130 liter bottles, but it depends on how many pumps you put into each bottle. Obviously, the more you put in, the less bottles you will get out of it.

They are refillable. You just take them in and exchange them (a lot like doing a propane can exchange). You can purchase new w/o the exchange, but it costs you a LOT more money to do so.

As to how long they last, that depends on how much carbonated water you drink and how strong you make the carbonation.

Mine last about a monht or so, but I am in a family of two heavy soda drinkers. It works to about 60 L, and they make the larger 130 L bottles too. They are NOT refillable. You get exchange at major retailers. They run about half of the price of an exchange bottle.

they are exchangeable at Best Buy and other stores "Beyond". Inexpensive and last for several months for the occasional user. If you are daily user possibly a month

Yes, carbonators are refillable. The recycle program is in place to help the environment. If you are a heavy user it should last for three to four weeks. If you are a lighter user it should last from five to six weeks.

The CO2 cylinders can be exchanged for full ones at a reduce price.
The full size cylinder should make approximately 60 of the 1 litre bottles before it needs to be replaced
