A:AnswerDunno if you figured this out by now, but I’m going to assume you have one half of your system wired backwards (black/red reversed on the amp) and since the sub uses both channels for bass, when it’s balanced output the bass signals are cancelling each other out, but when it’s panned left or right it’s giving the left or right bass signal.

A:AnswerI believe every thing is identical except the MAG 4.1 has a XPRESS Audio Keypad, which is a $70 part. I'd rather have the 6 speakers personally given the price, but to each their own.

The included (6) satellite speakers and (1) subwoofer is the maximum number of speakers you should connect to the Sonos amp. Adding more speakers may result in an unacceptable load, which could damage the Sonos amp.
